Under the new Coal Distribution Policy of the Government of India, the GHRSSIDC has been designated as the State Agency for supply of Coal to small and medium industrial units whose annual requirement of coal is less than 4200 tons per annum. The GHRSSIDC will enter into Fuel Supply Agreement with respective Coal companies and procure the coal under this agreement for supplying the same to the small and medium industrial units which are registered with GHRSSIDC. After analyzing the requirement of coal, and undertaking industrial inspection, the annual requirement will be communicated to the fuel supplier and the quantity of coal will be procured by the GHRSSIDC on behalf of the indenting small and medium industrial units.
