Unique utilitarian The Coconut Palm - ubiquitous in its presence on Goa's landscape and in the lifestyle of the ethnic communities. Every part of the tree has utilitarian value. Traditional artisans use their creativity to transcend from utility to artistic and decorative. Decanters, bowls, pendants, curios and even earrings and bangles are some of over 500 items that are crafted using the fiber and the shell of the coconut. All coconut items vary in weight between 100g to 200g approximately.
