GHRSSIDC conducts training programmes in various Handicraft items such as shellcraft, coconut craft, candlemaking etc in order to create self employment opportunity for Urban and Rural Youth/Women.

Training programmes 2009-2010: 65 classes were conducted all over Goa where in 1300 people were trained in various crafts.

Training programmes 2010-2011: 31 classes have been conducted all over Goa where in 620 people have been trained in various crafts
